As Membership of ChairX expands, we feel we need to have a few guidelines regarding our meetings and activities to instill some consistency of approach, both online and at our many events.

1. Professionalism.

To act in a courteous and professional manner at all times with other Members and Guests and no swearing or selling please

2. Confidentiality.

Chatham House Rules- please do not disclose information to a third party without specific agreement from that individual

3. Equality.

All Members/Fellows are deemed equal and can attend all events on an equal footing

4. Balanced.

At our meetings, everyone will have a say and no one person to dominate the conversation. Please be sensitive to others.

5. Collaborative.

The power of business collaboration can be immense- remunerated or not.

6. Friendly

We like to retain a relaxed, semi-informal approach and humorous, where appropriate!

The purpose of this Paper is to provide the UK Drone Industry’s coordinated guidance (represented by the 300+ strong Drone Delivery Group to the Government’s Air Traffic Management and Unmanned Aircraft Bill. Despite the very best-intentioned efforts, the overall Government landscape is fractured with different departments sponsoring, or as a minimum working with, different groups and approaches with no clear national strategy to understand and ultimately develop and standardize an evidence-based UK UTM landscape. The Drone Delivery Group represents an industry-backed initiative to bridge the gap between Government and industry. The Group was founded with the goal of establishing an open channel of communication between key stakeholders within the drone delivery industry (manufacturers, operators, and investors) and Government, standards bodies and regulatory organisations.
